Understanding the "Product sales summary report" tab

Updated over 7 months ago

The product sales summary tab in the monthly order report offers a clear and concise overview of how each product is performing. This report brings together sales data for every item, giving you valuable insights into total revenue, the ‘Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP),’ and the quantity sold during the reporting period. It serves as a crucial tool for distilleries to assess product success, highlight top-performing items, and shape inventory and marketing strategies effectively

Purpose of the product sales summary

This tab simplifies the analysis of product performance by summarizing:

  • The total MSRP generated for each product.

  • The total quantity of each product sold during the reporting period.

Unlike the Product sales report, which lists individual orders, this summary aggregates data for each product to give a high-level view of overall sales performance.
