If you find that you no longer need a store, archiving it is a simple and effective way to permanently remove it from your active list. Once it’s archived, the store won’t be accessible to customers or included in your operations anymore. Just remember, since archiving is a permanent step that can’t be reversed, it’s important to proceed with care!
Steps to archive a store
Go to the Store catalog section in the main menu. Here, you’ll see a list of all your active stores.
Find the store you want to archive in the list.
Click on the trash can icon for the corresponding store.
A confirmation dialog will appear, reminding you that archiving is permanent. Carefully review the information and click Confirm to finalize the action.
Once archived, the store will no longer appear in your active list. Double-check the Stores section to confirm the store has been successfully removed.
Best practices for archiving a store
Check dependencies: Ensure the store isn’t linked to active campaigns or promotions that could be impacted by its removal.
Communicate with customers: If the store is active, notify customers about the closure in advance to avoid confusion.
